Atlantic Theater Company Announces Casting for the World Premiere of The Bedwetter

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) is proud to announce casting for the world premiere production of The Bedwetter, a new musical with a book by Drama Desk Award winner Joshua Harmon and Emmy Award winner Sarah Silverman, lyrics by Emmy Award winner Adam Schlesinger and Sarah Silverman, music by Adam Schlesinger, and direction by Lucille Lortel Award winner Anne Kauffman.

 The Bedwetter will feature Ashley Blanchet (Frozen), Tony Award winner Stephanie J. Block (The Cher Show), Sami Bray (School of Rock), Rick Crom (HBO’s “Divorce”), Zoe Glick (Frozen), Darren Goldstein (Continuity), Taylor Paige Henderson (Off-Broadway debut), Tony Award winner Linda Lavin (Broadway Bound, “Santa Clarita Diet”), Charlotte MacLeod (Off-Broadway debut), Ellyn Marie Marsh (The Rose Tattoo), Charlie Pollock (Pretty Woman), and Emily Zimmerman (Off-Broadway debut). Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

 Based on the bestselling memoir of the same name, The Bedwetter will begin performances on April 25th and will open Wednesday, May 20th for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 14th, 2020 Off-Broadway at the Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street).

The Bedwetter will feature choreography by David Neumann, scenic design by Laura Jellinek, costume design by Kaye Voyce, lighting design by Japhy Weideman, sound design by Kai Harada, projection design by Lucy Mackinnon, music direction by Henry Aronson, music contraction by Dean Sharenow, and casting by Telsey + Company, Rachel Hoffman, CSARichard Hodge serves as production stage manager.

The Bedwetter is supported, in part, by generous funds from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director)  has announced that Obie Award recipient and Drama Desk Award winner Anne Kauffman (Mary Jane, The Lucky Ones) will direct the world premiere production of The Bedwetter, a new musical with a book by Drama Desk Award winner Joshua Harmon (Admissions, Bad Jews) and Emmy Award winner Sarah Silverman (Hulu’s “I Love You, America”), lyrics by Grammy Award and Emmy Award winner Adam Schlesinger (CW’s “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” Fountains of Wayne) and Sarah Silverman, and music by Adam Schlesinger.

 Based on the bestselling memoir of the same name, The Bedwetter will begin performances on April 25th, 2020 for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 14th, 2020 Off-Broadway at the Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street). Opening Night, casting, and creative team will be announced at a later date.

Atlantic Theater Company Announces Casting for the World Premiere of Sunday

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) has  announced the  casting for the world premiere production of Sunday by Tony Award winner Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) and directed by Obie Award winner Lee Sunday Evans (Dance Nation).

 Sunday will feature Juliana Canfield (The House That Will Not Stand), Ruby Frankel (Off-Broadway Debut; NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Atlantic Acting School 2017), Maurice Jones (Lifespan of a Fact), Zane Pais (Dead Poets Society), Sadie Scott (“Sweetbitter”), and Christian Strange (Off-Broadway Debut).

Sunday begins previews Wednesday, September 4th and will open Monday, September 23rd for a limited engagement through Sunday, October 13th, 2019 Off-Broadway at the Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street).

There is a moment when you want to look ahead to the future, but the past is eating you whole. In Sunday, friends gather for a book group, anxious to prove their intellectual worth, but that anxiety gets the better of any actual discussion as emotional truths come pouring out.

Sunday will feature scenic design by Brett J. Banakis, costume design by Ntokozo Fuzunina Kunene, lighting design by Masha Tsimring, sound design by Lee Kinney, original compositions by Daniel Kluger, and casting by Telsey + Company: Will Cantler, CSA; Karyn Casl, CSA.
