Gary Condes is an award-winning director, actor, acting coach. He has over 20 years experience as a professional actor and during the last 10 years has coached and trained actors in the UK and Europe. Gary trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama and his film credits include: MoonThe Wings of the DoveFive Seconds To Spare and Fever Pitch. Gary’s film directing credits include short film Healthy, which won ‘Best Short Film – Honourable Mention’ at Asians On Film Festival, Los Angeles, USA.  Gary has now teamed up with Buckland Theatre Company to direct their 2016 season of plays. The first being Miss Julie by August Strindberg, which ran in March to unanimous critical success.


PJ McEvoy designs sets, costumes and projection content having completed a degree in Professional Production skills at Guildford School of Acting. PJ has worked with Jack Galloway as Assistant Costume Designer and her credits include Punchdrunk Theatre: The Drowned Man (Temple Studios) and Batman Live(World Arena Tour). PJ has also designed paper props and graphics for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory(Theatre Royal Drury Lane). PJ’s other prop designs include The Girls (Grand Theatre Leeds), Young Chekhov(Chichester Festival Theatre), Hamlet (Barbican), Bend It Like Beckham (Phoenix Theatre), American Buffalo(Wyndham’s Theatre), Memphis (Shaftesbury Theatre), The Nether (Royal Court Theatre), Clarence Darrow(Old Vic Theatre), The Commitments (Palace Theatre), Barnum (Chichester Festival Theatre), Richard III(Apollo Theatre London) and The Phantom of the Opera (UK Tour).

Elly Condron will play Sam. Elly trained at Drama Centre London and graduated in 2013, her subsequent theatre credits include Jane Eyre (National Theatre, Bristol Old Vic), Spokesong (Finborough Theatre), Titus Andronicus (Smooth Faced Gentlemen, Greenwich Theatre) and Macbeth (Rift Theatre, site-specific). On screen, Elly has appeared in Wasp for which she won best actress at the Filmout San Diego film festival and in Eastenders.

Charles Dorfman will play GuyCharles studied Theatre at Trinity College Dublin and the Beverly Hills Playhouse in Los Angeles, Theatre Credits include Miss Julie (Etcetera Theatre), Taking StepsDangerous Corner, and Wuthering Heights (all Manor Pavilion Sidmouth). On screen Charles has appeared in Myrtle (dir. James Alexandrou), The Show (dir. James Alexandrou) and Present (dir. Joe Ballerini).

Roxanne Pallett will play the role of Tyler. Roxanne’s previous stage credits include The Rocky Horror ShowThe Vagina Monologues (both UK Tour), Ladies Day (Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool), Satin ‘n’ Steel (Oldham Coliseum) and  BAFTA award winning playwright John Godber’s On The Piste (UK Tour). Roxanne played Jo Stiles in ITV1’s Emmerdale, the role that earned her many nominations and critical acclaim. Her further TV credits include Waterloo RoadCasualty, and Crime Stories. Roxanne has also appeared on the big screen in films such as It’s A Lot, Devil’s Tower, The Violators, Wrong Turn 6 for 20th Century Fox and most recently she wrapped on British film Habit, a thriller based on the novel by Stephen McGeagh.

Carley Stenson will play Bobbi. Carley’s previous theatre credits include Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (UK Tour), Spamalot (Playhouse Theatre), Shrek The Musical (Theatre Royal Drury Lane), [Title of Show] (Edinburgh Assembly), Legally Blonde (Savoy Theatre), Aida (Opera House, Manchester), Grease (Palace Theatre, Manchester) and Remembering Diana (Her Majesty’s Theatre). Carley is also well-known for her long running role as Steph Cunningham in Hollyoaks and has also appeared in Holby City and Suspects.
